Cyber Crime Data Viz Website

With the general public becoming more vigilant to cyber crime, a shift in trends is occurring. Businesses are now becoming more of a target over individuals, with small to medium businesses feeling the biggest affects. Cyber criminals have moved on to pray on unknowing and unsuspecting businesses with little to no knowledge on the necessary software and precautions needed to protect their businesses and employees against cyber criminals. Although aware of their privatel security, many business owners and employees do not consider their vulnerability at work. This project investigates the data behind this trend and utilises data visualisation to represent the findings and provide a possible solution for informing small businesses.
